Launched in 2020 , Akkabee is the brainchild of Deborah Lee , a qualified Beauty Specialist based in Glasgow , Scotland with more than 20 years' experience in the industry and an enduring passion for skin nutrition.
Deborah traces her journey into the world of perfume back to childhood , where she drew inspirations from her mother, a Herbalist, and would devote countless hours to creating her own fragrances for family and friends.
Now responsible for the curation, design and formulation of products for a considerably larger audience , Deborah still devotes much of her time to the creation of new fragrances and , continuing to follow in the footsteps of her mother , has infused aromatherapy into her range so as to bring medicinal benefits to others.
As was the case at the very beginning, Deborah remains wholeheartedly dedicated to preserving the environment and , as such, the entire Akkabee range, including packaging, is produced the organic way, using raw antioxidant formulas and natural ingredients as certified by the Soil Association. In addition , all essential oils, attar oils, carrier oils, butters, and wax used in production are responsibly sourced , and selected for their positive impact on the health of both body and mind.
